In Sport and Dance Academy we believe in teaching the basics of the art form to provide a solid foundation both mentally and physically. This foundation enables the student to understand and perform dance at any level. It allows the student to appreciate the true beauty of the art form.

Ballet (Ages 5+)

This class for the young dancers it focuses on coordination, balance, rhythm, flexibility, and basic kinetic skills, as well as creative expression through dance. It will introduce students to the foundation steps and vocabulary of ballet

Lyrical (Ages 5+)

This class for the young dancers it focuses on coordination, balance, rhythm, flexibility, and basic kinetic skills, as well as creative expression through dance. It will introduce students to the foundation steps and vocabulary of ballet

Ballet Dancer on Floor

Rumba (Ages 6+)

​This class students learn popular dance from Cuba such as Mambo, Cha cha cha, Guaguanco and Rumba; students will learn these rhythms.  Students have the opportunity to show case these dances by participating in local/Community events and competition.

Hip Hop (Ages 6+)

Hip Hop is derived from street dance. This style requires high energy and attention to detail. Students will learn complex rhythms and syncopation. This class builds stamina, strength, and flexibility, while learning today’s hottest hip hop moves such as tutting, wacking, and dance-hall, which are interwoven into the classical styles of popping, locking, and break-dance

Flying Splits

Salsa

Salsa is a popular form of social dance that originated in the Caribbean. The movements of salsa have origins in Puerto Rican bomba and plena, Cuban Son, cha-cha-cha, mambo and other dance forms
