Hip Hop is energy, creativity, and self-expression. Our classes teach real technique while encouraging dancers to find their own style. Students build coordination, musicality, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

Yeek originated in Atlanta, Georgia, and developed into different regional variations throughout the state. At SDA, dancers learn the Columbus, Georgia adaptation of Yeek — a high-energy style recognized for its fast footwork, rhythmic grooves, personality, and freestyle expression.
This unique style gives our dancers an opportunity to experience a part of Southern Hip Hop culture that isn’t commonly taught in traditional dance studios.
