Cuban Folklore is a powerful fusion of African, Spanish, and Caribbean influences. It tells the story of Cuba’s past and present through movement, rhythm, and costume.
Each dance honors our roots, celebrates our identity, and keeps our traditions alive for future generations.
Cuban Folklore requires strong technique, rhythm, coordination, and musicality. Students develop body control, footwork, grounded movement, and expressive arm and torso work while learning the cultural meaning behind each dance.

FOR EVERY DANCER
Our Cuban Folklore classes are open to all students, from beginners to advanced dancers. No previous experience or cultural background is required—just an interest in movement, rhythm, and Cuban culture.
Classes focus on dance technique, music, history, and cultural traditions. While students may learn dances associated with Afro-Cuban traditions and the Orishas, instruction is presented from a cultural and artistic perspective and does not include religious teaching, worship, or religious practice.
